During a meeting held on March 20, 2025, the Idaho Lottery Commission approved the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) aimed at acquiring bids from qualified advertising and marketing agencies. The decision is part of an effort to evaluate business activities as stated by Andrew Arulanandam, Director of the Idaho Lottery.
“As a government entity, it is our fiduciary responsibility to evaluate the way we conduct our business activities. The Idaho Lottery is committed to good government and governance, and that requires evaluating our outsourced, contracted services,” Arulanandam remarked. “It is incumbent for us to do our due diligence and examine all opportunities.”
Interested agencies have until April 24, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time to submit their proposals in writing. Detailed information about the RFP can be accessed through the Idaho Lottery's website.
The Idaho Lottery aims to responsibly provide various games such as Powerball and Mega Millions while maintaining integrity. Since its inception in 1989, it has generated significant revenue for public schools and building funds in Idaho.
