The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is set to offer training and guidance on April 8 to suppliers and other stakeholders. This initiative aims to familiarize participants with the process of having materials and products enlisted on ITD’s Qualified Products List (QPL) for highway construction projects. The training will be broadcast live and will continue to be available on ITD’s website for several weeks afterward.

The QPL serves to streamline the approval process for products used in highway projects by pre-categorizing items that meet ITD’s specifications, eliminating the need for repeated evaluations for each new project.

While the essence of the QPL remains unchanged, enhancements in the interfacing process will be showcased during the session scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon Mountain Time. The event will be accessible via Microsoft Teams.

Participants unable to join the live session can access the recorded presentation on ITD's QPL webpage. For inquiries, Terri Hansen or Tom Furrer can be contacted at the provided numbers.

Details for accessing the Microsoft Teams session and additional instructions for participation are available at the ITD website.
