The Idaho Transportation Department is carrying out repairs on the Stoddard Creek Bridge at Exit 184 on Interstate 15. For safety reasons, Stoddard Creek Road beneath the I-15 bridge is closed as crews work to demolish the existing bridge deck.

Drivers exiting both northbound and southbound from the freeway will be restricted to making right turns onto Stoddard Creek Road. Left turns are not allowed under the closed bridge. This traffic restriction will remain until the project is finished, expected by late spring.

For southbound I-15 drivers, direct access to the recreational parking area west of the Stoddard Creek Exit remains available. Northbound drivers wishing to reach this parking area should travel six miles further to Humprey Exit 190, then return southbound to exit at Stoddard Creek. From there, a safe right turn into the parking area can be made.

For updates regarding this closure and ongoing construction, information is available on the Idaho 511 app and at 511.idaho.gov.
