Bill Ruff | Idaho Department of Correction
Bill Ruff | Idaho Department of Correction
Congratulations to Bill Ruff for 10 years of service with the Idaho Department of Correction.
Bill began working at North Idaho Correctional Institution in June of 2007 as a Lewis Clark State College contracted special education instructor. In 2012, he transitioned from being a LCSC to an IDOC employee and took responsibility for technology at the Robert Janss School.
Bill initiated the school’s network and library at NICI. Bill has been working as a part-time instructor and technology manager since retiring in 2013. Since that time, Bill developed NICI’s School web, which is an integral part of the education department’s work with students. Using School Web, he created a Personal Learning class that routinely has 100 to 200 residents enrolled each month.
NICI staff honor Bill for his commitment to education.
