Mallory Johnson | Eastern Idaho Public Health, Narcan Training
On October 15th, Mallory Johnson from Eastern Idaho Public Health was at Idaho Falls Community Reentry Center to do Narcan training for residents and staff.
Mallory trained 33 residents at the facility on how to administer Narcan, to recognize the signs of an overdose, and laws that apply within the context of an overdose incident.
This is the third training for residents and staff at the facility on Narcan taught by Mallory. She also taught a class to a large portion of our residents and the general public at our local community partner and resource hub, The Center for Hope.
Mallory and East Idaho Public Health have historically been excellent support in our partnership for a decade. They have really stepped up their support for the community and IFCRC with the COVID19 epidemic and with the increase in overdoses in recent years. Mallory and EIPH committed to sustained training at IFCRC as we accumulate new residents in the future.
Enormous props to Mallory Johnson for her support and to Cpl. Mike Grebstad for facilitating this relationship!
