The Idaho STEM Action Center's Chief Science Officer Enrollment Window closes Sept. 30

The Idaho STEM Action Center's Chief Science Officer Enrollment Window closes Sept. 30!

The Chief Science Officer (CSO) program is a great way to amplify student voices around STEM in schools and communities! The CSO program is FREE for students in grades 6-12 who are motivated to develop their leadership skills while raising awareness of STEM among their peers. Students will develop and implement their own STEM project(s) with support from a school mentor and their STEM Ecosystem Hub Coordinator. The CSO program is an international program, and during the 2022-23 school year, the CSO program will reach a total of 26 states and 15 countries, allowing students to connect with CSOs across the globe!  FREE training is provided as well.

For more information go to the STEM Action Center website at: https://stem.idaho.gov/apply/cso/

On the page, click on the CSO Interest form, which will email John McFarlane, Program Coordinator. There will also be an informational Zoom meeting on Sept. 14 at 4:30 pm MST. Please indicate in your email if you would like to attend and receive the link.
