Wyoming Type 3 IMT Management Plan 2022

Wyoming Type 3 Incident Management Team 5 is the IMT that has been ordered to the #SawtellFire with Josh Erickson to become Incident Commander. The In Brief is scheduled for today but has not yet taken place.  Erickson will become IC after the In Brief is concluded.

Typically, a T3 IMT roster will include a Public Information Officer (PIO).  Likewise, it is possible that an Inciweb page will soon be established for The Sawtell.  Also, it is possible that the IMT will begin filing the daily ICS-209 forms so we may soon learn much more about incident management for the Sawtell.

If you are interested in the nuts and bolts of a T3 IMT, we have two links:

The first takes you to the Wyoming Type 3 IMT Management Plan for Fire Season 2022:

The second link takes you to an August roster for Wyoming T3 IMT Team 4. Bear in mind that the make up of T3 IMT rosters changes with each incident.  The sample roster linked here is just for info purposes and may not indicate which positions will be filled for The Sawtell:

We have been unable to find a photo of soon-to-be IC Josh Erickson.  The majority of Incident Commanders at all levels generally do not want their individual photos published.  That comes from the "One Team One Fight" motto of wild land fire fighting.   Everybody's in the fight together and most managers are loathe to stand out above the rest of the team.

We do not yet know the location of the Incident Command Post and/or fire camp.
