Automatic Fire Sprinklers are credited with extinguishing what could have been a tragic and costly fire at Boise State Universiy’s Honors College. An investigator determined the poor judgement on the part of a student attempting to cook a snack in a toaster oven was to blame. Fortunately, no injuries were reported and only minor water damage to a portion of the building.
Many thanks to Boise Fire Depatment for their rapid response and quick action in reducing the damage.
The building should be back to regular operation later tonight.
