Three members of the Boise State men’s tennis team were named to the All-Mountain West teams, according to an announcement by the conference on April 21.

The recognition highlights individual and doubles achievements for Stewart Aronson, Carson Baker, and Avery Tallakson. The three athletes were selected for the All-Mountain West Singles team, tying Boise State with Utah State for the most singles selections this season. This marks the second consecutive year that Boise State has had three players earn this distinction.

Aronson earned his first all-conference honor after achieving a 12-8 record in dual play, primarily competing at the No. 2 position where he went 7-3 and secured four match-clinching victories. His season included a win over No. 99 Sebastian Sec of Princeton.

Baker played mainly at No. 3 singles and finished with a record of 10-7 in dual matches, also notching four match-clinching wins and suffering only two losses in conference play. This is his second career selection to the All-Mountain West Singles team.

Tallakson recorded an overall mark of 11-6, including an 8-4 record at No.1 singles. He was named Mountain West Player of the Week on March 18 after compiling a combined singles and doubles record of 6-1 across four matches, earning his first career all-conference honor.

In doubles competition, Baker and Tallakson formed a successful partnership at No.1 doubles with a record of 14-6 together. Their season featured two ranked victories—including one over Santa Clara’s Luca Bluett and John Kim—and only one loss in conference play.

Boise State men’s tennis will begin tournament play at the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship on April 22 against New Mexico in Las Vegas.
