Former Boise State offensive lineman Kage Casey was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round with the 111th overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, according to an announcement on April 25.
Casey’s selection highlights his successful college career and continues a tradition of Boise State players advancing to professional football. His performance as a starter and team captain contributed significantly to Boise State’s recent achievements on the field.
During his four years at Boise State, Casey played in 46 games and started 41 times at left tackle. He earned Freshman All-America honors and was named to the All-Mountain West second team in 2023, anchoring an offensive line that allowed just over one sack per game and helped the team average nearly 215 rushing yards per contest. In that season, Boise State won its first Mountain West title since 2019.
In his junior year, Casey received All-America recognition from five outlets, including second-team honors from The Athletic and Walter Camp. He did not allow any sacks while playing a team-high number of snaps, helping lead an offense that set a school record for rushing yards and finished with a top national ranking. As captain in his senior year, he again led the team in snaps played and earned multiple accolades for his play.
Casey is now the program’s 75th NFL draft pick overall and joins six other former Broncos who have been drafted by Denver. Notable past selections include Super Bowl champions Ryan Clady and Matt Paradis. Casey is also noted as being only the third Bronco chosen in the fourth round.
