The Idaho women’s tennis team will conclude its regular season with a match against Eastern Washington on April 18 in Cheney, Washington. The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse.

This final contest holds significance for both teams as they look to secure their positions ahead of postseason play. Idaho enters the matchup with an overall record of 10-9 and a conference record of 4-3. The Vandals have achieved notable victories this season, including wins over New Mexico State (5-2), Montana State (5-2), and nationally ranked No. 58 Sacramento State (4-3). Despite some setbacks during the season, the team aims to end on a positive note as it faces off against the Eagles.

Eastern Washington comes into the match after splitting results last weekend—a loss to Idaho State (2-5) and a win over Weber State (5-2). The Eagles hold an overall record of 10-8 and are also at 4-3 in conference play. Saturday’s event will also serve as Senior Day for Eastern Washington, honoring seniors Anait Arutiunian, Leandra Nizetic, and Sara Vasic.

Both teams are looking to build momentum heading into potential postseason opportunities. Fans can follow updates about Idaho women’s tennis through their social media channels.
