The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will introduce a redesigned website to the public on Monday, January 12, 2026. The department states that the new site will be modern, accessible, and mobile friendly. Features of the updated website include integrated construction project pages, a calendar, and advanced site search.

The web address for ITD will remain itd.idaho.gov. The department emphasized that websites ending in .gov are official government sources, which ensures accurate, reliable, and secure information for users.

ITD is responsible for managing transportation systems across Idaho. Its work includes overseeing highways, public transit, aviation services and supporting economic development by maintaining infrastructure and offering services such as driver licensing and vehicle registration (official website). The agency operates under a seven-member Transportation Board appointed by the governor (official website) and maintains its headquarters in Boise (official website).

According to ITD’s official website, it provides statewide programs for transportation planning and airport support while focusing on safe and efficient travel throughout Idaho.
