The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will hold an open house in Soda Springs to discuss upcoming construction plans for U.S. Highway 30. The event is scheduled for Monday, January 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tigert Middle School, located at 250 East 3rd Street South.

During the open house, ITD staff will present design plans and information about the project timeline. Community members can ask questions and learn more about the reconstruction and resurfacing of US-30 through Soda Springs. The project also includes adding a turn lane to improve access for vehicles turning left into the Sheriff’s Office.

Residents are invited to attend at any time during the two-hour window. For those unable to participate in person, details and updates about the project are available on the project website at https://itdprojects.idaho.gov/pages/soda-springs-ecl-wcl.
