Boise State women’s basketball announced on Apr. 24 that guard Grace Foster has joined its roster, according to head coach Gordy Presnell.
Foster, who stands at 5-foot-10, transfers to the Broncos after playing two seasons at Utah. Last season, she appeared in 31 games and averaged 3.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. She shot 33.3% from the field and made 34.3% of her three-point attempts. Her career-high performance came against Kansas State, where she scored 17 points and hit four three-pointers.
“We are excited to welcome Grace to our program,” Presnell said. “She is a strong, aggressive player who will help continue our tradition of outstanding wing play.”
Foster is originally from Perth, Australia, and has two years of eligibility remaining with Boise State. She will join fellow Australian Libby Hutton on the team; Hutton was recently named a Mountain West All-Tournament selection and also comes from Perth.
During her time at Utah, Foster played in a total of 37 games and recorded a shooting percentage of 33% from the field overall while making a total of 28 three-pointers at a rate of nearly 34%.
