Five interns have started their internships with U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) for the fall 2025 term, working in his offices in Washington, D.C., and Boise.

“During President Trump’s historic second term, there is much for this fall’s interns to experience in the halls of Congress and in my state offices,” said Crapo. “Through their internships, these bright, young individuals will actively engage with Idaho’s constituents, expand their knowledge of the federal policymaking process and grow hard and soft skills important for their future careers. I am delighted to have them on board for this fall and look forward to their success.”

Three of the interns are based in Washington, D.C.: Jack Gabrieli from Boise, a junior at Creighton University majoring in Economics; Trevor Rasmussen from Lewiston, a recent graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in international studies/relations; and Daisy Aguilar from Idaho Falls, a junior at George Washington University studying political science and marketing who plans to attend law school.

The Boise office hosts two interns: Megan Knudson from Santa Clarita, California, a senior at Boise State University studying political science; and Ryan Collins from Kuna, Idaho, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who earned his B.S. in political science from Arizona State University and is interested in law school.

Senator Crapo provides internship opportunities both in Washington, D.C., and across regional offices throughout Idaho. Applications for spring 2026 internships are open until October 15, 2025. More information about available positions and application procedures can be found on Senator Crapo’s official website at https://www.crapo.senate.gov/services/for-students/internships.
