City of Eagle seeks applicants for Historic Preservation Commission opening

The City of Eagle announced on April 21 that it is accepting applications to fill one opening on its Historic Preservation Commission. The position is open to all interested individuals, with priority given to residents of Eagle.

The commission plays a role in preserving the city’s historical and cultural resources. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate interest, competence, or knowledge in history or historic preservation and should have experience in fields such as architecture, history, urban planning, archaeology, engineering, law, or related disciplines.

The selected individual will serve a three-year term as a volunteer. The commission meets quarterly on the second Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Appointment is made by recommendation from the Mayor and approval by the City Council.

Those wishing to apply must complete a Request for Consideration Form online and are encouraged to submit a resume or curriculum vitae. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time (MST), on Monday, May 4.
