The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office announced on April 28 that a sheriff’s sale will take place on June 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the rotunda of the Bonneville County Courthouse at 605 Capital, Idaho Falls. The property will be sold to the highest bidder in lawful U.S. currency to satisfy a judgment for Interwest Corp., doing business as Interwest Cabinet, against Richard Shane Miller and Brandi Lou Miller.
The sale is being conducted under a Writ of Execution issued on February 24, which directs the sheriff to levy upon and sell all rights, title, and interest of the defendants in specific real estate located in Bonneville County. The legal description includes parcels within Township 3 North, Range 41 East and Range 42 East of the Boise Meridian, with several exceptions detailed in the notice.
According to the notice, “The purchaser will be entitled to a deed for the premises so sold at the expiration of the one-year redemption period. In the case of a credit bid, the purchaser will record a full or partial satisfaction of judgment as merited in return for the deed to the premises.” Information about property location can be obtained from Steven Atkinson at Barton Atkinson & Murdoch P.C., who represents Interwest Corp.
Sheriff Samuel Hulse said that by Certificate of Sale he “will transfer the right, title and interest of the judgment debtor in and to the property at the time of execution or attachment was levied.” He added that possession would be given but clear title or continued possessory right is not guaranteed. All property is sold “as is,” without any warranty.
All bidders must register with law enforcement before bidding begins and have sufficient cash or bank-guaranteed funds available; payment by cash or certified funds is due by 3 p.m. on sale day.
