Boise State men’s basketball announced on Apr. 22 that it has signed forward Jikany Deang to its roster.
The addition of Deang is expected to strengthen the team’s lineup, as he brings experience and strong performance from his previous college career.
Deang, who stands at 6 feet 11 inches, joins Boise State after playing two seasons at North Dakota State College of Sciences, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Over those two years, he appeared in 54 games and started in 53 of them, averaging 16.6 points per game with a shooting percentage of 44.4 percent.
In his most recent season, Deang started all 31 games for North Dakota State College of Sciences and averaged 17.6 points per game. He was instrumental in leading the team to an overall record of 26 wins and six losses, including a conference record of ten wins and two losses and an impressive home record of thirteen wins against one loss.
Deang is originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota.
