The Blue Galleries at Boise State announced on Apr. 17 that it is accepting submissions for the 2026 Annual Student Juried Exhibition. Undergraduate and graduate students from any major are invited to submit one or two works created within the past year, with a deadline of midnight on May 8, 2026.

This annual event provides an opportunity for students to showcase their creative work and gain recognition within the university community. The exhibition aims to highlight diverse artistic talent among Boise State’s student body.

Entry requirements specify that each artwork should be represented by a single JPEG image (maximum size: 5MB) for two-dimensional, three-dimensional, or installation work, or by a single MP4 file (up to 100MB) for video, animation, or time-based media. Students must also provide details such as title, media type, dimensions, and insurance value with each entry. Incomplete entries will not be reviewed by the juror.

Artists will receive notification about whether their work has been accepted by May 18, and selected pieces will be displayed during an opening reception on August 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., continuing through October 28 during regular gallery hours Tuesday through Friday.
